A sustainable egg farm in NSW

Hazlewood Pastoral Co. started in early 2015 as a collaborative project between three long-time friends. Set on an idyllic 350 acres - the farm was located in Monkerai, New South Wales in the beautiful Hunter region. With over 2000 hens and 35 pigs roaming freely, our vision was to apply non-traditional farming techniques that focused on animal welfare and a natural environment. Inspiration from music, design, art and construction fuelled our ideas, and a new community formed within the disenfracnhised egg world.
